MallorcaBusiness.com is a curated directory of business events and business communities on Mallorca, operated from Germany. We are not the organizer of the events listed unless explicitly stated.

2. What we collect and why

• Registration data (name or company, email address, preferred language, alert opt-in) when you reserve a member or organizer account. Purpose: managing the waitlist and, if you opted in, sending event alerts once they launch. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), withdrawable at any time.
• Event submission data (event details, organizer name, contact email) when you submit an event. Purpose: reviewing and publishing the listing. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The organizer name and event details become public if the listing is approved; the contact email does not.
• Server logs (IP address, user agent, requested pages) processed by our hosting provider for security and operation. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

We do not sell personal data, run advertising, or build tracking profiles. The B2B Match preview stores its profile and swipe data exclusively in your own browser (localStorage); in the current phase it is never transmitted to our servers.

3. Processors and third parties

• Vercel Inc. (hosting and content delivery, EU and US infrastructure, EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
• Vercel Web Analytics: privacy-friendly, cookieless page-view statistics. Visits are counted via an anonymized hash that is discarded after 24 hours; no cross-site tracking, no advertising profiles. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• OpenStreetMap Foundation: venue maps on event pages are embedded from openstreetmap.org, which receives your IP address when the map loads.
• Links to third-party ticketing and event pages (organizers, Meetup, Eventbrite and similar) are external; their own privacy policies apply once you follow them.

4. Retention

Registration data is kept until you withdraw consent or ask for deletion. Event submissions are kept while the listing is live and for up to 12 months afterwards. Server logs are kept for the period set by the hosting provider (typically days to weeks).

5. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port your data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time by writing to hello@wearesynq.com. You can lodge a complaint with any EU supervisory authority, for example the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt (Germany, our lead authority) or the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es) in Spain.

MallorcaBusiness.com curates and lists business events and business communities on Mallorca. Listings are compiled with care from public information and direct submissions, and reviewed by hand. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness or availability: dates, venues, prices and conditions belong to the respective organizers and can change without notice. Always verify details with the organizer before making arrangements.

2. We are not the organizer

Unless explicitly stated, we are not the organizer of listed events and are not a party to any contract between you and an organizer or ticketing provider. Ticket links lead to external services under their own terms.

3. Event submissions

• You may only submit events you are authorised to publish, and the information must be lawful and accurate.
• By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to publish, format, translate and promote the listing on this site and in our alert emails.
• We may edit for style, decline or remove any listing at our sole discretion, and revoke the verified-organizer status at any time.

4. Intellectual property

The design, brand, texts and code of this site belong to the operator. Event names, logos and descriptions belong to their respective organizers and are shown for information purposes.

5. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from cancelled or changed events, from the content of external sites, or from decisions taken on the basis of listed information, except in cases of intent or gross negligence.

6. Governing law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For merchants, the courts at the operator's registered seat have jurisdiction; mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. If a provision of these terms is invalid, the remainder stays in force.

This site uses only technical cookies and browser storage that are strictly necessary for the service, which is why no cookie consent banner is shown (exempt under §25(2) TDDDG in Germany and Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE in Spain). We use no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Embedded OpenStreetMap venue maps may set their own technical cookies under the OpenStreetMap Foundation's policy. You can delete cookies and localStorage at any time in your browser settings; the site keeps working, only your language choice and B2B Match profile are forgotten.
